this film will be made as a requirement for our final grade in our subject LITERAT.
in this film, my group will make a filipino version ng death note..
although hindi namin tatapusin. kasi nga 1hr lang ung pinapagawa.

the scripts will be made by our summersalt crew, chillchaser.
humingi ako ng tulong sa kanya. and so for the other crews out there.
kahit moral support lang. haha i'll give credits in the film.

Since na kasama nman ako sa scriptwriting - I guess wala nman masama kung mag post ako d2... Sa ngayon rekwes ko lang sana na lagyan nyu ng "subtitle" ung death note episode nyu, to make it unique and inform the audience that'll it not be entirely the same thing as the original deathnote.

Tapos ung names ng mga members, isama nyu dun sa intro (one at a time lang throughout the whole intro). I have an idea of how the first 15 minutes should play out. I'll post my thoughts along with the script on weekend, nawala kc ung folder ko, kaya di ko alam kung san ko ilalagay ung papel.

Off topic:
Tungkol dun sa o2mania, I've failed in getting things done (di pala sapat ung 3hours, kc 25% lang ng zip file ung na achieve ko) but I won't give up!

i was thinking to move the shooting next wednesday (march 25) para may mga naka corporate attire na.
then here comes my pride. haha sabe ko sa sarili ko,
"hindi na magiging professional kung papalit palit ng sched."

so direcho ako sa comlab para manghiram ng DLP at Laptop.
Rej told me to fill up the form with the sign of the professor.
then pumunta ako ng facilities para ipareserve ung auditorium.
sabe.. 1 month before daw dapat un pinapareserve. (me nadagdag sa utak ko)
and naka reserve daw ung audi sa mga nursing student for the whole march. (damn them. haha)
tinanong ko na lang kung anung mga room available ng saturday. 1-3pm

walang available na DLP, Laptop, at speaker this saturday. (o may gulay)

kaya ayun..
next wednesday na lang tayo magshu shoot talaga. eto pramis totoo na.
nakapag pareserve na ko ng DLP at Laptop for March 25.
and monoblock chairs, extension cords, speakers.

ung mga actors nlng ung kulang.
mas mainam na din to para me time akong magawa ung script.

Eto ung concept.
unang scenario parang ganun din sa script. ma iiba lang ung topic.
imbis na tungkol sa Death Note, nagmi meeting ung mga tao para mahuli ung hacker na nanira ng database ng school.
well, para hindi madungisan ung pangalan ng school, they'll try to solve the case underground. (haha na inspire ako nung umatend ako ng seminar kanina eh. andun din si Marjorie) kaya ayun.

i'll finish this deathnote first. by tomorrow (pag sinipag ako) tapos na ung buong script ng death note.

Well my idea si rem kung pano nya tapusin - as for his idea, pinoy adaptation. I requested that we make an independent story that uses the death note in new ways, he is considering it. So as long as may material na (may actual deathnote nman xa eh).

We can't do a full story na magtutunog "full" in one hour, so may balak kami na gagawa kami ng parang trailer style na episode where rem aims to finish an episode that makes audience ask for more

Para di masyadong magastos, we're not going to use special effects (here I mean any 3D effect to reproduce the shinigami, non- human character kc eh). Instead, we're going to replace him with an actual person dressed in a peculiar way (simple and all- black pede kya?) tapos nawawala- wala xa with every camera angle change, to imply the idea na "hindi xa nakikita sa perspective ng ibang tao".

Also, we're going to do the L-chases-Light drama, FEU style . Where this "Light" character is actually more of a rational person and a musical genius, while L is a teenage prodigy who works with high profile anti- crime organizations.

That's all muna, I can't go into embellished details - dahil hindi ko ma- assure na papayag si rem sa ibang aspect. Tapos hindi ko xa nakakausap maxado ngaun (skulwork nga).

Pero cge, I'll see what I can do.

Try to search for streaming sites po, I recommend ung first two episodes (you can stop after watching 2) - everything is laid out for you to think about. As for the sites, animeseason.com? meron ata dun - dun ako nood ngaun ng soul eater eh hehe.

If you ask me, the song - with it's melody, lyrics and all, it gives me the creeps, makes me feel weird, while being a very powerful, emotional song overall. (I've read the history of this game, and I tell you guys - a very sad and lonely story is reflected by this song, galing nung writer, idol ko)

Ay uu nga no! under my current resolution (which is around 1024 x 568 ata) - I need to SCROLL down before I can SEE the link. And since kita ko na ung buong background (it doesn't stretch to the bottom) it gives off the idea na I'm seeing the whole of the page right there, after my screen refreshes. So medyo malabo ung dating nung line na "Click the link below to proceed to the forums." kasi manipis lang ung text after that. So expected mostly ng viewer is the link is somewhere AFTER the text which is currently not the case.

Ang naiisip kong fix ay:
Make the page an image entirely, and turn it into an image map (ung may mga coordinates tapos pwede ding lagyan ng mga clickable parts, this parts being the link itself). I visited w3schools.com as I was typing this, and found out you could also attach a "mouse- over message" to the links.

Ang challenge nalang cguro is making the summersalt.tk link image's background color to transparent, para pag pinasok na xa dun sa background magbeblend in xa dun sa design (white text + black box = bad ). Any opinions from photoshop users? Level 0 pa ung photoshop ko eh

Then you always keep a separate file of the background and text messages para pwedeng ma edit, therefore update na rin. Gambatte rem- sama!

As for the wednesday plan nyo, ituloy nyo lang - that scene wasn't included in my version of the script, pero since mas onti ung resources na kino- consume ko (papel at panulat), ako nalang ung aadapt (sayang din ung imba scene kung sakali).

Like how we talked about it earlier, nakakaubos din kc ng energy ung tinatandaan mo plang eh - tapos since most of the time hindi mo bibilangin ang mga pending tasks mo - parang ang dami dami tuloy. But if you write fromt seven to nine tasks on a piece of paper, it doesn't look too much (PDA ko ngaun 1 whole yellow pad na puno na ung isang side, malapit na ko mag back2back )
